Liquids and Temperature

An acupuncturist told me to never ever ever drink cold beverages. Ever.
I would think piping hot drinks might be bad too, in that school of thought. Maybe body temperature refreshments are best, but they are not my cup of tea.
Icy is my love.

Ha! My aunt mentioned that idea a few times.

It's probably not true. And even if it were partly true, it's one of those assertions that I think should not be taken as an absolute. It's not like it will bring down disaster on oneself, and there are plenty of more worrisome things we can improve.

To avoid brain freeze, just sip in a civilized manner and let the tongue taste the flavor. The mouth will warm the drink like it's supposed to.

Many things depend on the person. For example, the hypermobile should probably avoid hard sports, because it is easier for them to hyperextend and suffer permanent injury.

Bottom line: If my elderly mother or my maiden aunt fear it....Give it a closer look, do.

That's also not my cup of tea. A long cool drink is my preference.

But civilized is certainly wonderful. I enjoy being around it.

Okay, then let your acupuncturist do the sipping. Although, acupuncture isn't my cup of tea.

As long nobody accidentally drenches the front of their shirts in public or wrinkles their brow in agony, heh, you're not that uncivilized.
