It's emotionally impossible to be without onions in the house. I get scared when it's down to one. The thought of zero terrifies me. I won't consider it. Same with garlic. I'm down to 1/4th of a bulb and I'm getting nervous, but I have a full 3# bag of onions at the moment so I should be fine.

Scrambling the Dove

We got into it today. Enough is too much. Peace? We'll see if this creature means business.

The dove intimidates all the more delicate birds around, but today I opened the door and played my music to the crowd. The shy ones got aroused and spoke up, snapping and twittering, neutralizing the depressing whine of the loud one. So it looks like the damned dove is going to get me to express MYself. MY VOICE. And all the lively little ones I love.

We have to get together on this.
