Scrambling the Dove

We got into it today. Enough is too much. Peace? We'll see if this creature means business.
The dove intimidates all the more delicate birds around, but today I opened the door and played my music to the crowd. The shy ones got aroused and spoke up, snapping and twittering, neutralizing the depressing whine of the loud one. So it looks like the damned dove is going to get me to express MYself. MY VOICE. And all the lively little ones I love.
We have to get together on this.
Power to the chirpers!

Right On!

Around these parts we have Mockingbirds which can be annoying as heck. They just love to mimic mechanical stuff like your alarm going off.

One of my ex-neighbors, a real Annie Oakley in her 80s, got so pissed off that one full moon the Mockingbird suicided right in front of her rifle pointing out her bedroom window.

If that Mockingbird don't sing..

um, anyway...
Good luck with the musical assault. I can't remember did that work in the downfall of Noriega?

Opening up the pipes might be just what the universe in general could use about now. We need something.

>>PS to Christi, good to see you and it reminds me i want to send you a map.

HA HA!!! On all of it. You are so charmingly hilarious. Noriega! LOL. My kind of gal that sharp-shooting 80 year old. Birds are funny. They can make you think of those things although I'd stop with a BB gun.

Funny and wise are a stellar combo.

We do need something, but get this. Today that good ol' universe spoke up. The bird wouldn't let me sleep this morning, so I went to my sanctuary -- the basement. Then I played my music again and went back to my computer. Lo and behold, no bird all afternoon. My first doveless day. So does that mean I'm destined to remain tied to my computer for now? Big test tomorrow. I'll do what I'm supposed to do. I'm really easy to get along with. It's getting interesting. It was such sweet sweet relief today.

"The musical assault." Heheh.

That part is interesting too. Sometimes it's agonizing listening to my tapes, but in a dovetailed world, I LOVE THEM! If that bird teaches me to love myself, all will be forgiven. I'll marry it in my next life. Or let it be my agent.

I thought about the tides and lines. Beautiful ideas. And the Empress on the coming and going of your beloved. The cold times seem fruitful for you as your paintings reveal.

I left a message on the previous thread about your recent posts on Raging U. "Scrambling the Dove" had seemed to disappear.

Hopefully your mournful dove has moved on too. All the delight from your audience may be just the answer in the Strength card.

I so love they way your mind works, it's such pleasure to rest on the cushions of your patio with you - thank you!

My sweet SB. Wise and care-full 1. Appreciation is so important to me.

The bird has returned, of course. 16 hours a day. *sigh* .... such is life.

I agree with you about folk music and about it's return, I don't know. It's actually thriving in and around the hoopla. It's like a root vegetable hiding but still growing in small places. I think Capricorn will bring some paring down and return of dense value.

Humble seems to be the name of the great teacher standing on the threshold for many of us now.

Beautifully said. Virgo is associated with humility and in practical ways, yes, but in a bigger sense I think Sagittarius is involved. It's when we first encounter the god-figure and the universe. Sagittarius can be the most humble of all, I believe, in genuine awe of life's span. So many teachers.

I'm so glad you're well and working.

Art will continue to rescue us and I think even if the obvious crowd doesn't show humble appreciation, the current flows anyway and the artist is nourished.

hi tseka...my two wonderful friends. it's nice to see you again!

The words 'paring down' and 'dense' make me wish for a piece of carrot cake. and a creamy coffee to go with it.

my ex-love started teaching yoga on the beach. he's had to shout over the sound of the waves~and loves it.

birds...
I had some pigeons living in my roof for months on end. They are finally gone. One night I was sitting on my balcony and down the road I noticed a flock (are pigeons a flock?) of them swooping up in formation, around, and swooooosh back to sit in a row on a building. It reminded me of being in India and sitting on rooftops.

Watching people flying kites, and also letting their pigeons out...they were doing exactly what my tormentors were doing.
it made me think 'these birds didn't need to be caged, they do it automatically'

it is so strange. it was hard getting rid of them. I had to keep the windows shut for days, they kept banging up against them, trying to find a way in again.

Pigeons? Gone? There's hope. I think doves are part of the pigeon family. May Jupiter take it on a long journey.

My theory of life:

Everything outside is trying to get in, everything inside is trying to get out.

Not here, everything wants into the cool. Snakes cozy up to the threshold just hoping I won't notice them so they can slip inside. I'm just not that sharing of a person. If they get too pushy the broom whisks them away. And nobody inside is interested in venturing out, at least for another month.

On the other hand..I am off to the cool north to try to flog some paintings next week. We'll see how that goes.

Hej, Joe
~~
Thanks JM, I'm slipping your wishes into my pocket, I'll take all the luck and wishes offered. (Are you listening Jupiter on my ASC?) I'll know a whole lot more after next week.

I've let go of "gradual progress." Maybe I'll pick up my father's, "Now we're logging!" Hard work and things roll...

Are we too loud? Or not loud enough? :o)
Logging is noisy, so be prepared.

Wonderful to see you.
