Hmmmm ......... B#

There ain't no business guaranteed to win
I'm a gamblin' woman like I always been
I shoot straight. I just might win.
Gonna hit that jackpot watch it all roll in

It's an unusual game.

Home today, helping S/O pack, he's moving first, I'll follow sometime next month. There's fog, it's raining, the house is chaos, this is all very good. @:-) ~sige

As of now, I'm in our old house alone, except for the cat (and she would say that is a big exception!)

Noticed some of jbk's female voice coming out with some worry with regards to her, the two really bonded over this past year.

My dining room, once the serene space with the rockers, is now filled with empty boxes. They haven't replaced me yet at work, so no rush.

It's quiet, the rain stopped, the bells gently ringing.

I think this is going to be good too, JM. A feeling. Not excitement so much as a content, okay, let's see what the city has to say. Have no idea what that means via my chart, of course. @;-)

Get me an exact time and I'll give you some pointers. I already have some ideas, but I need to see the chart.

love the poem.
Even the gypsy can't really say
what fortune is coming your way.

Tho lolly, lolly lollipop
hit the spot too.
It spoke to me over and over, certain tunes just connect and don't let go do they?

Good news (sort of, at least for me!) my buddy the Prof did an edit of one of my old poems, then added a recent new line I've been playing with, and voila! ready to hit print. I was stunned, I hadn't thought to go back to the poem's old lines, the ones I'd edited out of the final, and then use them to create another poem.

Another two weeks of work at the newspaper and then... back to writing, and packing boxes.

We had a total of 13 inches of rain, but no flooding problems, as they do in Kansas.

Okay, that's my wrap up. @;-)

tseka, yes, exactly! he's been asking me if i've been writing, which i really haven't, except for the odd line or two that i tossed his way because i didn't know what to do with them. wow, did he show me what to do! i'd forgotten, it's been too long! now all i can think is "two more weeks, two more weeks." yes, there will be packing to do and some sort of job to find again, but this next time, something banal and part-time, something that leaves the bulk of my life where i can mine this compost of words.

oh, so happy. :-) i knew you'd understand. {{{tseka}}} jm would probably say is my ASC rising, ya think? :-)

btw, do you ever combine your painting in collage? just curious.

Sige, well technically almost all of my paintings are collages. I cut them up and reassemble them. I like to slightly abstract the images forcing the eye and mind to see differently.

And sometimes a couple of paintings get merged into one -if that was the direction you were thinking.

I have paintings of birch trees with real bark that friends find on their travels and bring me as gifts. They sit in drawers and on shelves i do not know if i can sell them or if they will fall apart or the acid will eat the paper so i wait and watch and so far it looks stable.

This I like. Very very much. We're right from the beginning.
